We are so pleased to welcome Robert Howard to the Ilmington Community Shop and Café Committee!
Robert brings a wealth of experience with him, having previously served as Finance Director of a public company and going on to run the only British manufacturer of specialist lenses for film and TV cameras — during which time they picked up an Oscar for services to the film industry! 
He and his wife Diane moved to Ilmington because, in his own words, it seemed ideal – “a shop, two pubs, and lots going on in the village.” That community spirit is exactly what inspired him to put his hand up and volunteer.
We are absolutely delighted to have someone of his experience joining the team, and we know he is going to be a fantastic addition to the committee.
