Welcome to Coffee and Connect, an opportunity to get a helping hand in Ilmington Community Café. From 2 to 4pm on Friday 12th April – and potentially every month – you can come and meet Linda, a Community Connector for VASA, the Stratford-on-Avon volunteer group. Linda’s a lady with a lot of good information. She has a legal background and a host of useful contacts up her sleeves. She can help with the small crises of real life: filling in forms, printing them up, applying for energy grants, supporting carers. She has experience in bereavement counselling and housing benefits, fast-tracking care and social support. But beyond all this, she’s a jolly good person to talk to.
