…we are celebrating seasonal, local produce. Here at Ilmington Community Shop, we prefer foods that haven’t travelled hundreds of miles to reach us, or been packed in cellophane with manufactured CO2. And to celebrate the abundance around us, we are throwing a little “Compotition”! Customers are invited to enter their homemade preserves – jams and jellies, pickles and compotes – for the chance to win a prize. You can use homegrown produce, hedgerow fruits, or order directly from us. We can supply a wide range of fruit and veg, for instance plums, tomatoes or sweetcorn, courgettes, apples or pears, all grown locally by Drinkwaters of Ebrington.
