We plated a fair few home-baked cakes for the Open Gardens event on Saturday and you did us proud, devouring 367 slices in the sunshine. It was a fabulous day of glorious gardens and fundraising, with tea on the Community Cafe terrace to top it all off. Many of you commented you couldn’t decide which cake to eat, they all looked so lovely. We thank every volunteer cake baker who turned humble ingredients from the community shop into magic for the café. We will be making a generous donation to Shipston Home Nursing
