Next week we are expecting a real life author: Richard Vaughan Davies, who wrote our book choice In the Shadow of Shakespeare. When Richard heard we were chatting about his novel – set in modern-day Stratford-on-Avon – he kindly brought a few copies into the shop. An invitation followed, and we are delighted that Richard will be joining us for Book Club in the Community Café. Maybe you’ve been reading his story of literary intrigue, involving four RSC actors embroiled in a production of Hamlet. Perhaps you are interested to learn more about the life and works of one Will Shaxpur. Or maybe you’d just like to meet a local writer and get your book signed!
