Neo and Brian both like “finding things” and Brian was interested to see some flint Neo had found in the village. Thousands of years ago, Brian explained, a piece of flint with a natural hole in it might have been used to make jewellery. On Friday afternoon, from 4 to 5pm in the Café, Brian will be telling us more about his own “findings”, based on his tabletop display ‘9,000 Years of Life in the Stour Valley.’ The display has attracted a lot of interest and a few of you have asked to hear from Brian, who volunteers for Shipston Museum. So come along to this free event and learn more about the history beneath our feet!
