We are encouraging our café volunteers to bring a friend to work to make each shift a little easier and a lot more fun. Our three amigos in the picture are (l-r) Jane Lloyd, Joan Redhead and Gill Peasant. Gill had been considering volunteering for a while, and knowing that Joan would be there to offer support gave her the confidence to have a go. “It’s so much better to have someone to banter with,” she says.
