Hosted by the Olympian diver Tom Daley, who famously took up knitting during lockdown, amateur knitters gather in the Scottish highlands for challenges that include covering an entire settee and designing knitted swimwear – a la 1960s! Here in the Cotswolds, our seasoned knitters meet in the Community Café on the fourth Wednesday of every month and not a celebrity in sight. Knit n Natter is a chance to share projects, enjoy good company and set the world to rights. Like all our friendly groups, it’s open to all, even if your nattering is better than your knitting! Crochet, sewing and other craft projects also welcome. The next two meetings are 26th November and 17th December at 2pm (to avoid Christmas.) Do come and click your needles with us!
Game of Wool: Britain’s Best Knitter, airs every Sunday and is streaming now on Channel 4
