That’s where our deep clean team comes in, working quietly behind the scenes to keep everything sparkling.
Helen is one of our regulars, joining the team on the last Wednesday of every month at 6pm. She also pops in for early shifts and together with her husband Chris helps to pack our Christmas in a Box. Helen grew up in Ilmington before moving away when she married and always planned to volunteer here when she retired, which she did, just the year before lockdown. A regular churchgoer in the village, she wanted to get to know more local people, and loves the shop in particular because there’s always time for a proper chat.
