Cleaning up became a family affair when grandparents Jeremy and Diana Snowden were on shift the other day. “Our grandchildren Jack and Eva came to help on my café shift,” says Diana. “Then our son Oli and daughter-in-law Angie came to check out the service, and ended up getting roped in to shut down at the end of the day. The price you pay if you linger too long over the coffee and cake!” We love to see the generations pulling together, from nine-year-old Eva and 12-year-old Jack (who usually live in Cheshire) to regular Ilmington volunteers Diana and Jeremy (ages unspecified.) We love our volunteers of all ages and we always need more hands on deck. If you fancy joining the team for a few hours a week, give us a call on 01608 682838. And we don’t mind where you’re commuting from either…
