
One of our lovely volunteer bakers has offered to make a gluten-free cake every Tuesday. Mandy Plant volunteers for the Shop and Cafe and regularly bakes for us. “I love baking cakes, even though I don’t eat them myself!” she says. “I’ve been asked to master the art of the gluten free cake, so I’m giving it a go.” Mandy’s GF Lemon Drizzle cake is proving poplar and we sell other gluten-free varieties, featuring polenta perhaps, or ground almonds, at the weekend.
