Here at Ilmington Community Shop, we work closely with Cotswold/Warwickshire businesses to showcase and support their wonderful produce. Personal relationships and low food miles characterise many of the items we stock on our shelves. Today we shout out to three of our favourite local suppliers: 1) Fosse Way Honey, producing honey from 10 apiaries from Stratford-upon-Avon to Stow-on-the-Wold; 2) Monsoon Estates Coffee, a traditional craft roastery near Stratford, whose beans and grounds fill our shop and café with the fine aroma of good coffee; 3) Spirit of Ilmington, the distillery that operates in our very own village, dispensing joy with every sip of apple brandy, fruit gin, vodka or rum.
