Book Club @thecafe has been a great success over the years and we love to encourage new members. If you’ve read the book choice of the month, you will get more out of it. But ours is an informal group, and we welcome everyone, even those who haven’t had the time or inclination to do their homework! Join us on Tuesday 5th November at 2pm in the Community Café for a discussion about Precious Matter by Belinda Roberts. The story revolves around Agatha, Peter and Wilfie Whisper, ordinary people to whom extraordinary things happen. Readers love this novel for its poetry, its quirkiness and the sheer quality of the writing. Come along in November for good coffee, great cake – and excellent company
