…and we’ve got some fabulous new artisans and suppliers to share with you! Here’s Natalie from The Cottage Garden Florist with armfuls of beautiful blooms. “We are looking forward to taking part in the Farmers Market,” says Jemma Parnell, owner of the Shipston-based business and 22 years a florist. “It’s a chance to meet people and get to know them!” Jemma is now arranging fresh bouquets for the community shop and she hopes they will provide one more reason for people to visit us. “It’s ideal for people to pick up flowers when they come in for a coffee. It’s an extra draw.” We hope there will be plenty to draw you to Ilmington Village Hall on Thursday night, too. The Market runs from 6 to 8pm and a two-course supper can be preordered for £10. New stalls this year include willow weaving, Almond Tree Jam preserves, Sheer Indulgence Christmas cakes, puddings and chocolates, Little Loves patchwork cushions – these can be personalised on the night – and The Fondue Box, a one-stop shop for a great fondue party! Many of our favourite stallholders will be with us of course: Clare Sharratt’s tweed accessories, River Swan of Avon’s whimsical art, Penny Varley Ceramics and more… No tickets needed, but you can book your supper through the shop on 01608 682838 if you hurry!
