… a chance to celebrate the many people who dedicate their time and energy to Ilmington Community Shop. From the dozens who serve customers and stack shelves, to the folk who fix things; from the chair of the committee to a lady who has just signed up to bake cakes, we all met on Saturday night in our beautifully-decorated Village Hall. There were caterers, there was wine. There was a disco, there was even a friendly quiz (!) and we made sure to thank everyone who contributes to the success of our eight-year-old community venture. And to those who couldn’t attend this time, or are thinking of volunteering, we hope to see you at our summer party! As far as volunteering goes, the more is definitely the merrier
