Businessman Mike Clasper has a wealth of corporate experience – from Proctor & Gamble to the RSC – and brings a fresh perspective to running our Shop and Café. “Our home is in Ilmington and we feel very supportive of this community,” says Mike. “The two pubs, the Shop and the Café make the place a real village.” His wife Sue has been a valuable member of our volunteer team for years. “I want to give a bit back,” says Mike. He lists his hobbies as family (he has five grandchildren), golf, travel, theatre, Sunderland Football club and “being on the board of things!” Mike, we are delighted to have you on the team!
