…in Ilmington Village Hall today, where there are stands, demonstrations and talks on the subject of climate change! On the basis that small actions make a big difference, we are part of a national week of more than 4,500 events around the UK. This is a chance to learn about alternative energies, meet the Cotswold Wardens and learn how to take part in the Ilmington Community Nature Survey. At 2pm, there’s a talk about The Old Tramway. As a cooperative store in the heart of a village, Ilmington Community Shop does its bit to save food miles, car journeys and promote rural sustainability. We also think we can make more meaningful changes, and we are using this week as a springboard for ideas to reduce our carbon footprint. Watch this space…
