It’s marmalade making season once again and Ilmington Community Shop is bursting with the the fruits of Spanish sunshine. Seville oranges are back, and we are running our Great Ilmington Marmalade Challenge once again. Bring us your jar of homemade, unlabelled marmalade for the chance to win a delicious bottle of fruit gin by Spirit of Ilmington. All entries will be judged double-blind by a food development chef. We’d love it if you bought your oranges, sugar, lemons and other ingredients from us, but it’s not compulsory. Your deadline is Thursday 17th February, entry forms are in the shop, and the winner will be announced on Friday 18th. Happy marmalading!
