You’ve packed their bags and off they’ve gone,
Bathroom is free, no lights left on.
No pinging of phones, no slamming of doors,
No loud music playing, bouncing off walls,
No trainers or boots strewn around the hall –
The remote control is now all yours.
Washing machine is still, no ironing to do.
What you eat for supper is now up to you.
Turn off your phone, you can sleep tight,
No taxi is needed in the middle of the night.
The house is so tidy, what will you do?

Come and join our group of friendly volunteers who help run Ilmington Community Shop and Café. All ages welcome, no age limit, no experience necessary, full training given. You can choose a regular shift of two or three hours or work flexibly, as time allows. Come and make friends while helping our community.
