When we asked you to save the date for our National Thank You Day picnic, we must have forgotten to send the memo to Boris! Current Covid rules being what they are – and as today is no longer the hoped-for end to all restrictions – we have decided to amend our plans. So the Ilmington Community Shop picnic will be postponed until Saturday 28th August, if rules permit. Look out for other village happenings on that date, too. Meanwhile, for National Thank You Day we will still be creating our Thank You Tree festooned with messages of gratitude for those who helped us during the pandemic. Please do come and write your love labels in the shop on 3rd and 4th July and enjoy the tree on the village green
