We’re bringing the taste of a Spanish summer into Ilmington Community Shop, as we invite you to take part in the first Great Ilmington Marmalade Challenge! Seville oranges are famous for their rich colour and a deep, bitter flavour that makes the perfect marmalade. We’ve got a display table filled with all the ingredients you need and a prize that’s worth jamming for: a 35cl bottle of Spirit of Ilmington fruit gin or apple brandy. Made locally, these delicious liqueurs are the ideal winter treat and can even be added to your marmalade recipe. The last date for submissions is 12th February.
