…and some belong to our special teams: the Saturday Squad or the Gardening Gang, the Cake Bakers or the Maintenance Massive! (OK, we just made that one up, but we do have a dedicated maintenance crew…) Well here before you are members of the Events Squad, wonderful people who bring you our occasional Long Table Suppers at Ilmington Community Café. Without their voluntary cooking, plating, serving and washing up, we wouldn’t be able to deliver our three-course feasts for such a fantastic price. And you’d miss a chance to share a table with friends and neighbours you might not have seen in ages. So let’s put our hands together for (left to right) Tony Moon, Carol Hawkins, Jean Moon and Clair Cole. Not forgetting Sophie and Wilf Buck, who helped to set up the Autumn Supper on Friday night.
