This month we are enjoying sun-ripened figs from Nicky Schlatter’s garden, a bounty she is kindly sharing with the village. “Our fig tree must be 35 years old,” says Nicky. “Every year I bring the figs up to the shop. We love them. They are very good with goats cheese and wrapped in Parma ham.” …and drizzled with a little Fosse Way Honey? All of which we sell in the shop! Thanks to Nicky: all her figgy proceeds go to the Community Shop. If you want to shop local, you won’t get more local than this!
