As soon as the Community Shop closed its doors at 1pm last Monday, the deep cleaners moved in! Dusting and polishing, scrubbing and moving fixtures around, our valiant volunteers gave the shop a Big Spruce Up. It was an important part of our volunteer help-out day, a nationwide initiative to encourage volunteering as part of the Coronation celebrations. Donning the Marigolds were Carol, Kat, Julia, Jean, Karen, Sue, Marion, Susan, Cecilia, Christina, Astrid, Sue and husband Mike. Thank you all for giving us the five-star treatment. We are sparkling from shelf to shelf!
