…meet Julia and Mike Such, who were married in the Community Shop building, a Catholic Church for many years before it was deconsecrated and put up for sale. Lots of visitors have happy memories of services and occasions in the old church – here you can see Mike and Julia being married by Father Sim on 18th May, a lovely sunny day in 1991. Julia’s parents lived in Mickleton and the young couple had their wedding breakfast at Alexia’s in Chipping Campden. They stopped to see us for cake and a cuppa and a trip down memory lane, with dog Scarlett in tow. If you’ve got memories of the old church and Ilmington, do come and see us and share them!
