“It’s beautiful. And the shop is so well stocked!” She’s enjoying her teacake and a village view while browsing one of the news folders we place on café tables. “The folders are great. It’s lovely to read about village life. There are interesting snippets and little bits of history. That’s what I’m finding so welcoming.” Malcolm and Maureen are from Wellesbourne. Malcolm is the treasurer for The Fox at Loxley, a community pub about nine miles away. “I’ve been here once before,” he says, “but last time I walked from Wellesbourne, raising money for the Plunkett Foundation.” Plunkett is the charity that supports the network of community businesses like our own. We love to share our stories and upcoming events via the printed folders and on social media.
