… and we celebrated a fundraiser which drew the whole village together. The raffle itself raised £1,590 for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and along with your donations (still coming in!) we’ve raised an impressive £2,026 to date. We’d like to thank the two fabulous Ilmington pubs – The Red Lion and The Howard Arms – for their generosity, and all the businesses and individuals who donated lovely gifts and unique prizes. Some of the raffle winners are pictured here: not pictured is first prize winner and Ilmington resident Mike Clasper, who has a £100 voucher to spend at The Howard Arms. Thanks to Michele Hall for organising the whole thing – and finally thank you to all you generous folk who bought tickets to support the people of the Ukraine in their time of need.
