We are thrilled and delighted to welcome Laura Groves as the new Assistant Manager at Ilmington Community Shop and Café. After a hard-fought recruitment and interview process, Laura emerged a worthy winner and she starts her new role this week, learning procedures across both the shop and café.
Many of you will know Laura as an Ilmington neighbour and friend, Laura has also been a long-time shop and Café volunteer, since we opened in 2015 she’s been a regular behind the counter.
We hope her new role and energy will provide much-needed support for Michele as Manager and stability for the whole business.
