We also stock his Willersey Cheddar cheeses and fine Netherend Farm butter – yet we’ve never met him before. “I’m the person who answers the phone to take your order!” said James, after a chance remark revealed the strong local connection. “And I’m the person who calls to place the Willersey order on a Wednesday!” said regular volunteer Alan Sarjant. “Well, sometimes I’m the person who forgets to place the order…” James was on a Devon holiday with wife Karen and daughter Amelie and we were delighted to bump into them all.
