Sometimes the seasonal fruit of Ilmington falls our way, and we are able to share this local abundance with our customers.
This month we are enjoying sun-ripened figs from Nicky Schlatter’s garden, a bounty she is kindly sharing with the village. “Our fig tree must be 35 years old,” says Nicky. “Every year I bring the figs up to the shop. We love them. They are very good with goats cheese and wrapped in Parma ham.” […]

It’s the start of term and we’ve got plenty of healthy snacks suitable for lunchboxes as well as lots of lovely treats for after school.
The shop is open weekdays from 7.30am until 5.30pm and the café is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Friday. Good luck to everyone heading back to school for the new school year.
