Ilmington Bear is a long way from home
His wool comes from Armscote Manor and is sold in Ilmington Community Shop – but this particular little bear was knitted by Barbara Peachey, who lives in North Island, New Zealand. The men who left Ilmington and lost their lives fighting for our freedom. Our Act of Commemoration begins at the war memorial on Upper Green, opposite the community shop, at 10.55am and continues with a short service inside St Mary’s Church. All are welcome
